What does the employee experience look like on day one?

The employee receives a pre-configured device - enrolled in MDM, with their apps and security policies already applied. They open the box and start working. HR and IT don't need to be involved. 

Can Workwize get the specific models and accessories we want?

Workwize offers most major brands and models through our catalog, depending on regional availability. For accessories and other items, we have 40+ categories of products available. If something you need isn't listed, your Workwize contact can often find a local source for it. 

Do device standards vary by role or location?

Yes. Workwize lets you configure role-based or location-based device kits. When HR triggers provisioning for a specific role, the correct device spec, accessories, and configuration are applied automatically - no manual selection needed.

How does Workwize handle short-term contractors or temporary staff?

Workwize supports temporary assignments and fixed-term deployments. You can set return triggers based on contract end dates, and the retrieval workflow runs the same way as for permanent employees. 

What if we hire in a country Workwize doesn't cover?

Workwize operates in 120 countries with owned warehouses in 14+ markets. For countries outside our warehouse footprint, we source from local vendors and still target 2–3 business day delivery. If you have a specific market in mind, we'll confirm coverage in your demo.

What happens when an employee leaves?

When a departure is triggered in your HRIS, Workwize automatically initiates the retrieval workflow: employee communication, prepaid return label, return tracking, and device processing for redeployment or disposal. HR doesn't own the follow-up - the platform does.

What if an employee doesn't return their device?

Workwize's retrieval automation significantly reduces non-returns. If a device isn't returned after automated follow-up, your Workwize customer success contact can escalate with local logistics coordination. We recover devices across 120 countries. 

Does HR need to be involved in the hardware process at all?

After initial setup, HR's involvement is limited to what already happens in the HRIS: hiring and offboarding employees. Workwize reads those events and handles everything hardware-related automatically.
