We're excited to announce Workflow Builder, driven by Workwize Agent. Type something like "order laptops for new hires starting in 7 days," and Workwize Agent builds the workflow in minutes. Then Workwize's warehouses and logistics network in more than 100 countries do the physical work: ordering the laptop, shipping it, and getting it to your new hire on day one.

Why we built Workflow Builder

IT equipment is physical. For example, a laptop has to travel from a warehouse to a desk, and eventually back again. Most AI tools sold to IT can look up a device, summarize a ticket, or draft a reply. But the moment the work touches the real world, it lands back on a person.

Our customers kept telling us this. Over the past year, automation came up unprompted in 71% of our sales and support calls. IT managers described spending their days chasing HR for addresses, fixing wrong shipments, and following up with couriers. Some told us they'd become "project managers for couriers." Onboarding a single new hire can take six tickets and three spreadsheets.

Workflow Builder closes that gap. It's driven by Workwize Agent, the first AI agent built on top of a global hardware operation in more than 100 countries, so requests don't just get logged. They get done.

Why IT automation never gets built

Most teams know this should be automated. It doesn't happen because building automation is a project in itself. It takes scoping, engineers, a drag-and-drop builder, someone who knows the APIs, and weeks of work, and what you get at the end is often a brittle workflow.

What Workflow Builder can do

• Onboard new hires without the back-and-forth. A new designer joins in Lisbon. Workflow Builder pulls their address from HR, provisions a MacBook from your stock, ships it from the nearest warehouse, enrolls it in Kandji before it leaves, and notifies the manager in Slack once it's on the way. If there's no MacBook in stock, it orders new ones.
• Get devices back after offboarding. When someone hands in their notice, Workflow Builder triggers retrieval, schedules the wipe as soon as the device reaches a warehouse, and routes it to storage or whoever needs it next. No missed wipes, no devices lost along the way.
• Run scheduled checks on your fleet. Set a weekly run to check every asset across every office, flag anything overdue for repair, and email IT a report every Monday morning.
• Answer questions about your inventory. Ask how many laptops are sitting unassigned in Berlin right now, and get the answer in the chat, no dashboard needed.

You approve every real-world action

Anything that can place orders and wipe devices needs guardrails, so we built them in from the start.

• Approvals by default. Every action with a real-world consequence, like an order, a retrieval, or a repair, waits in an approvals queue until someone signs off. You can opt specific steps out if you choose, but nothing skips the queue on its own.
• Workflows you can read. Workwize Agent writes each automation once, in code you can view and edit, and runs it the same way every time. Nothing gets reinterpreted at runtime.
• Full version history. See what changed in any workflow, and roll back when you need to.

Works with your existing tools

Workflow Builder connects natively to Slack, email, and Kandji today. For everything else, including your ticketing system or internal tools, it connects through custom connectors and webhooks. It can even read a tool's API documentation to set up the connection itself. If it has an API, Workflow Builder can reach it. Native connectors for popular ticketing tools are next on our roadmap.
